The value and functionality of this grip I think depends on what you're looking for. The grip is quite comfortable and also holds the Vita quite firmly. My only downside is that there is a bit of a plastic squeaky noise as others have mentioned, but it's actually not that bad. The rocker keys work well for the touchpoints in the top corners of the screen, but it's a bit difficult to get used to since those top two corners of your screen are always hidden.
