Just like Burt mentions in Tremors, if you need it and don't have it, that's another story. I have a job where there are moments when I'm thankful that I always have a multi-tool and a flashlight with me. I'm not sure about anyone but myself, I don't like carrying things in my bag as it's very annoying so this Nite Ize tool holster is perfect as I just clip it to my belt and stash my multi tool there just in case. I actually have an old Nite Ize tool holder and have been using it for many years and it still works but I lost it so I bought it to store my multi tool. Of course, this only applies if your multi-tool doesn't come with a holster, but in that case you wouldn't be looking at this holster.
