Switches to port 4 several times a day

Update: After using this switch for a few days, it suddenly stopped working. I switched from one computer to another and my keyboard didn't light up. Neither the keyboard nor the mouse did anything. Then I switched back to a computer that had a working keyboard and mouse a few seconds ago, and they stopped working on this one too. Perhaps my previous problems were due to the fact that the device was defective to begin with. I think I'll ask for a refund and order another brand. So far this is working as expected, but there are a few downsides, one relatively minor, the other more serious. One minor issue is that it's hard to tell which computer is plugged in unless you're almost directly above it. It wouldn't even bother me because I always know what computer I'm on. But the second problem exacerbates the first. Sometimes it changes the active input port by itself for no apparent reason. I have a backlit keyboard and it suddenly turns off when I'm working. Then I have to get up to see which port is lit and so far it always seems to be port 4. Seems random. It can run for hours without issue and then switch to port 4 multiple times over the next half hour. I already have a similar device (different brand) that can switch between two computers, but I have a new computer so I wanted one. who could switch between 3. I had a cable connected to port 3 for my new computer, but I haven't connected the other end to the new computer yet. So I figured if I plugged a cable into port 4 that might fix the problem, but that didn't help. Eventually I'll retire the old computer that the new one replaces and then probably go back to my old two-computer switch.
