I LOVE these scissors! Now I have the second set (I bought the first set at the hardware store, the second one came from here). Smaller scissors are good for fast work, but larger scissors offer excellent control. I use them for all my paper cutting needs. They're not all "crumbly" so you can actually make precise cuts. The rubber grips are very comfortable and protect your hands, especially if you do a lot of cutting over a long period of time. I also take them to Elm Nursery to help cut our laminate pieces and they slide right through the laminate. Yes! Definitely for adults as they are quite spicy. My children know that they are "mother's scissors". ;-)
