Fits ANY Bike

This bike rack is all you will ever need. I use three of these racks on all my bikes and love them. It's been over a year since I bought my first three bikes and I'm back to add two more to my bike collection! A hook holds a classic racing bike with a steel frame. The other holds a regular commuter road bike. The third, oh Jesus Christ, Buddha and SpongeBob, is holding my 35 pound downhill mountain bike. Sometimes I'll take this thing to the limit and hang all my gear on my bike while it's wall mounted (that's about 40-42 pounds). What's with all those people who say they can't fit their mid-size mountain bike tires? I have 2.5" tires on my mountain bike and it mounts great. I never trust drywall to hold anything over a pound, so I recommend securing it with rivets. Since I'm using three hooks and will soon be five, I stretched a 2X6 piece of wood to the length I need and fastened it with rivets. This way I can distribute the bike racks evenly and it looks great. With this method, the post sits on top of the "stud" no matter where you mount it. You can transform a cheap piece of wood with a few coats of stain and a few coats of polyurethane. This is the best rack for hanging bikes on the wall.
