I've only used this once with a rail and post cutter in my Hitachi M12VC router and my router table vibrated a lot even though I tightened it all the way. Reducing the router's speed to a minimum helped somewhat, but didn't completely remove the vibration. I held the router in my hand, turned it on and felt vibrations. Tried the same with my Hitachi collets and they hum normally again. Original Hitachi bits do not vibrate at all. IMHO this is a collet balance error or weak material causing excessive vibration at high cutter speeds. I will definitely not be using this again. At the same time I bought a 1/4" collet but will not try it as I expect the same result as this 1/2" collet.
