It's Loud. I ride a cbr600rr and I can hear the music over my bike. If you don't then you need to adjust them until they're positioned right. Once I found the sweat spot I had to turn it down. Loudness was what I was looking for because my other ones my bike just drowned out the sound. Bass is decent and I can hear the music clearly with the lyrics. Today I got caught in the rain and they survived. Controls are easy to manipulate. I don't have cut outs and the speakers fit without hurting my ears. I have to tuck my ears in my helmet before I slide it on my head so my ears don't fold. Will be getting 2 more for my other helmets. Good bang for the buck. Not to often am I pleased with electronics I get on Ebay but these I can say were a hit instead of a miss for me.
