Works well. They have had 2 of these for over 2 years. I am not sure if I would buy it again. You must use a medium grind, not espresso, or the coffee will run out forever. The first 6 months of use they would get 5 stars. The weak link is the filter which is why it got 3 stars Pros: Works as advertised Dishwasher safe (except for filter) Never leaks Handy for everyday use. The filter fails after about 6 months. The plastic parts that make up the filter housing degrade over time. We have pliers in the kitchen to pry it out of the bottom of the filter housing by pulling it straight instead of pushing it to the side like in the instructions. This makes it appear to last longer. Cannot put the filter in the dishwasher as it foams. It has the same consistency as a dishwasher filter and clogs with dishwasher dirt just like a dishwasher filter. You can order additional filters, but be careful, the shipping cost for one filter is $5. Last time I ordered 4 filters and paid $5 for shipping same as for one.
