Review on Hopkins 40495: The Ultimate Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Kit Solution! by Cory Mosley

I've tried two of Curt's wiring harnesses in the last six years. Both failed for me. I called e-trailer and they told me that Hopkins is the best wire harness manufacturer. This kit was very easy to install. I have a problem with the rear light on the passenger side of the trailer. I couldn't get it to work. I called Hopkins and they helped me check the wiring harness with a volt meter. The test showed that the Hopkins wiring harness was working properly and that something was wrong with my trailer tail light. As it turned out, rust on the bracket that holds the trailer's taillight was interfering with the grounding of the trailer's passenger-side taillight. I am the land of rust and wallah! My trailer lights now work 100%. Time will tell, but I'm sure Hopkins will outlive Kurts.
