Review on Sony SSCS3 3-Way Floor-Standing Speaker (Single) - Black - Enhance Your Audio Experience by Heather Marie

I bought these with a 10" subwoofer to replace my 80's stereo. The sound quality is excellent, the mids are clear and punchy, I think these speakers would be good even without a subwoofer, but sometimes I want to feel that bass. I really want to emphasize how amazing the mids are present on these speakers. My old system was bidirectional and looking back I can see how it boosted the bass. and highs, but left the mids to the woofer. I really feel like listening to these speakers is less stressful. I bought a Sony receiver and a Sony subwoofer to work with, it's amazing. although - these speakers are not very loud. They are enough to fill a large room, but if I wanted to play drums along with the music, I would need more volume. Of course my hearing is torn by such stupid things. .
