Luckily I had the presence of mind to read the reviews on this product before purchasing it. Measuring my wrists my size would have been MEDIUM according to their instructions but based on all the comments about gloves being smaller I made the wise choice to order the next size up. These gloves work EXACTLY as promised and are incredibly comfortable. I had a bilateral trapezectomy and am currently recovering from bilateral tendon release surgery. I also had bilateral carpal tunnel surgery in the mid 1990's. Suffice it to say that I have vast experience with all types of staples in the world. These compression gloves work where many other similar devices don't. Can't recommend her more. However, if your measurements give you a large size, this product is NOT for you. Still, I would suggest finding a comparable product that doesn't have sizing issues. One last important consideration: If you've never worn compression braces before, you might be shocked by the tightness the first time you put the gloves on, but if the gloves are working properly, your circulation won't be compromised within an hour or so. but the support of your hands will be. Your body will get used to the pressure. But wait at least an hour or two before you decide to give up. Compression really helps!
