Cosco 11120RED1E Retro Counter Chair Review

This chair/stool is perfect. I love its vintage look. I assembled it myself, it took about 30 minutes. As long as you follow the instructions it will be perfectly square and very strong. I love it so much I'm ordering a second one.

I ordered this to save the world. I have an old one that was passed on and I have twins so I need a second one. The old one works great 40 years later. The new one is terrible. Feet aren't even on the ground. Steps keep getting off track and it hurts to move. I would have returned it on day one if it hadn't kept its calm.

Didn't know assembly required. I am a 69 year old female and Mondays are not for me. But with the help of a manual Phillips screwdriver it took 2 hours (considering the mistakes I had to redo it). Very low quality product and really dangerous. When the screws are fully tightened, the legs wobble, and I'm guessing that's because they're screwed into the plastic. When I requested a refund and sent it back I was told I would have to pay for the return shipping or donate and they would give a full refund and I would never give such a dangerous item to anyone else or they would give me a 15% Purchase refund and I can keep it. I should have read the other reviews before purchasing this poor quality copy of a sweet childhood memory. Don't repeat my mistake. We replaced a 25 year old Cosco kitchen ladder that still works but the seat vinyl has snapped on the front edge. We've secured it several times with clear tape, but it's time to replace it. We figured if we bought a Cosco "Retro Kitchen Stepstool" we would get the same original style and quality but with new vinyl seats. What a disappointment. ONE LEG IS TOO SHORT and a lot of DETAILS JUST KIND NOT TOGETHER I wanted to love this. This is the perfect size for a corner in my kitchen. It arrived today in a box that looked like it had been opened and then taped back together.
