Review on Cosco 11120RED1E Retro Counter Chair by John Koch

Cosco retro step chair, red All ok. However, I wouldn't spend more than 40€ for it. It is slightly smaller than the original chair from the 1950s. And as others have noted, the steps don't fold on hinges like the original, but instead slide in and out on a poorly made system of plastic rails that break easily. Unfortunately it was designed in such a way that retrofitting this poorly designed track system at home was very difficult. I can't help feeling that the designers thought more about how it looks and less about its utility and functionality. The decals advising not to step on the top chair seem to indicate as was common in the original.
