We have a 60 gallon salt water tank. We had a build up of seaweed on the sidewalls that our snails touched lightly but not fully. It worked great. I used a plastic scraper and being short I was able to scrape off all the gravel with a step stool. I even used it to clean up after our gramma fish which has a corner in the rock and therefore has a "poo" stain. Our tank is acrylic and this has not affected the tank in any way. You have to be careful not to scratch off the glue in the corners. Highly recommended!
