I ordered this item primarily to replace my toilet valve which was in a state of disrepair. The chain was attached to it. It would have made more sense to purchase a complete replacement kit at this price point. Unfortunately, the handle included in the set is not suitable for toilets with a curved cistern. The rod to which the chain is attached becomes blocked inside when flushing. Spacer and rod bend required. I ended up using the original handle with flap and chain from the kit. It works great when I adjusted the chain length.
