As other reviewers have pointed out, there is an odd coating on the inside of the lower pressure chamber. I bought these 1. I wanted a stainless steel moka pot 2. I like my BonVivo 6 cup stainless steel pot 3. I liked the large capacity (10 cups) of this pot. Problem? Well the coating inside the pressure tank is a deal breaker as mentioned above. I wanted everything to be stainless steel. This tank meets the first requirement as described but as other reviewers have pointed out and upon inspection when opening it has a coating. I recommend the BonVivo 6 cup, the excellent moka pot and indeed all stainless steel with no coatings. Terribly disappointed :(
