We read several reviews before purchasing this product including a one star review which included a photo of a part that broke or fell out after six months. Since there were many positive reviews and the overall rating was good, we still decided to buy the toy; Our four-year-old daughter wanted nothing for her birthday but a jack-in-the-box. We gave it to her today and she was very happy about it. for a few minutes. Less than half an hour after she started playing with him, he stopped working - no music, no clown, nothing. After hearing some rattling inside, we opened the box and found the same broken part shown in another review. Not only was this a waste of money, it also resulted in a very disappointed child.
