Per prior reviews I ordered one-size larger than I normally wear. The shoes came in above-average packaging - nice box and covers for both shoes. Despite the laces these shoes are a slip-on design and the they fit very tight. Not too hard to get on, though. My big toe is about a 1/2" from the end of the shoe when I stand on it. Beyond the tightness of the shoe, I found that my heel slipped. I tried thick boot socks - too thick. Then I tried somewhat-thinner athletic socks which helped. However, my heel still was slipping some. I removed the stretchy laces (which IMO are more for looks than function) and replaced them with regular oval laces. The laces helped, but even with the added support my heels still slipped a bit. Interesting, that as I just kept walking around in them around the house I began to sense that they will gradually mold to my feet as they are slowly feeling better and less heel slippage Initially thought I would have to return them but have talked myself into keeping the shoes in knowing over time shoes mold to feet. When you are standing on the shoes it compresses the insole cushion which now (after being persistent in figuring this out) isfeeling really comfortable.
