I got it because it was relatively cheap and I wanted to try stamping. It works great, I've only had a few issues with it; Although the stamp is fully functional, it is not transparent which makes stamping a bit tricky. Also, one of the pockets that the metal plates of the book go into was jagged and torn down the side. Luckily they have small enough pockets to keep my templates from slipping out, but it was a little disappointing that they arrived in this condition. I don't like all the patterns either, but that's personal preference. All in all, if you just want to try stamping, this is a great starter kit!
