This is an 8 inch tablet from a brand I can't pronounce called "Cwowdefu". of these brands based in China. When almost every major brand except Samsung has all but abandoned Android tablets, this type of product remains. Still, this tablet is a good device for the price. The screen is Full HD (1920 x 1200) with an aspect ratio of 16:10, looks good and is sufficiently bright. HDR 10 videos are not supported and, moreover, this device does not support Widevine L1 encoding. means that when streaming video with the Netflix app (and many other similar apps) you're limited to videos with a maximum resolution of 540p, which is far below the resolution the screen can display. This is a common problem with cheaper Android devices Yes, but a lot of people don't know about it. The device is powered by an 8-core ARM Unisoc SC9863a system-on-chip, it uses 8 ARM Cortex A55 cores, 4 cores at 1.6 GHz and 4 cores at 1.2 GHz. The GPU is Imagination Technologies Power VR Rogue GE8322. This is coupled with 3GB of RAM (LPDDR3) and it's actually quite fast when jumping in and out of apps and surfing the web. You get 32GB of storage with Android and built-in apps occupying 7.2GB of storage. Thanks to the built-in micro SD slot, you have the option of expansion. This compartment also offers space for a SIM card. LTE connectivity is a rare thing to see on such a cheap Android tablet, but this product gives you that opportunity. The 8MP cameras on the back and 5MP on the front, roughly comparable to those of an iPad (but NOT an iPad Pro), are useful for things as simple as making a video call or taking a picture of a document. I'm not hoping for more, your smartphone will almost certainly take better pictures. Unless you have a cheap phone under $300. Android 10 comes out of the box, which is great because it means you can get Google Play system updates. Google rolled out this feature on devices that ship with Android 10 from the factory. It's Google's way of bringing critical fixes for vulnerabilities and security vulnerabilities to the end user without needing help from the device manufacturer. Because of this, regular security updates are so bad for Android that device manufacturers have no incentive to protect their products after a customer purchases a device. At the very least, Google is doing its best to improve end-user security. The tablet has a USB-C port for charging, and the package includes a cable and 10W charger. It should be noted that this tablet does NOT support the Power Delivery protocol used by many smartphones and laptops, as well as the Nintendo Switch. If you connect a USB-C Power Delivery charger to this tablet, the tablet will not recognize it and start charging. I've never seen this before on a device with a USB-C port. It recognizes Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0, but I'm not sure if it's faster than the included 10W wall charger. So you basically need a standard 5-12W USB charger or Qualcomm QC to charge this device. A few other things to mention, this device is "Google Play Protect" certified, which means that this version of Android is legal and you won't have any issues with apps that aren't compatible with the device. The security patch from November 5 was installed on the tablet, there are no newer ones. It won't surprise me if this tablet never gets an update again, you just won't ever learn about brands no one has heard of before. At the very least, updates to the Google Play system will help make it less insecure. If you only use this device for light web browsing and video streaming, then the lack of security updates isn't that important. The tablet's body is metal and should be very durable and hold up well, making it a good option for kids. It's small and comfortable to hold in one hand (for an adult), easily fits in a backpack or lady's purse or purse. This tablet is affordable, it's a better option than the Fire tablet because it doesn't differ much in price, but it has the Google Play Store, a better processor, LTE connectivity, a higher resolution screen, and it tries it doesn't show blocking ads. or urging you to sign up for Revain services at every turn.
