FINALLY a salt grinder that works with my larger Himalayan sea salt, I also added some mixed peppercorns, not sure if you will it should do, but it works great. The only thing I would change is that a finer grind can be achieved. It is already set to the finest grind. Much easier than using a mortar and pestle, which works for most of my needs. Glass mills with plastic grinding stones broke all the time. The first time this happened we threw away all the groceries, mistakenly thinking that someone must have broken a glass near the stove. They were actually parts of a plastic cutter. This grinder solves all of those problems! I use these cute little terracotta or glass yogurt containers to keep them inside so the salt doesn't spill all over my countertops.
