I installed the garage so that it touches the garage floor as little as possible (for easier cleaning). This includes tools, skis, Christmas decorations and in this case a ladder. I wanted to buy reinforced ladder brackets so I went to the big stores to see what they had. In some places, however, a pair of braces can cost $20 or more. I decided to review Revain and decided to try them for $10. So far I'm impressed, it holds up the stairs pretty well. Quick note: They don't come with any mounting hardware, so you'll need to find suitable wall anchors. Regular 2" screws should work fine if you can find a stud, but I recommend using screws with these fasteners for any drywall installation.
