Review on BenQ EW3270U 31.5-Inch Monitor with FreeSync – 3840X2160P, USB Hub, High Dynamic Range, Blue Light Filter, Flicker-Free by Reggie Banks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent value for money considering its main features: 32 inches, 4K UHD, HDR10, 300 nits, 10-bit color.

For the price, this monitor is a pleasant surprise. Few other monitors in this group can boast the same color accuracy (there are plenty of Youtube reviews detailing accurate color measurements) or entry-level HDR10. You can't expect high levels of HDR at this price point, but the brightness remains an unexpected treat (300 nits versus 100 for regular monitors), making it a worthy contender in both gaming and design environments. HDR and 10-bit color require an initial setup, partly because it's a relatively new technology. For example, some software programs require you to experiment with the monitor's UI settings to find a good balance. In terms of gaming, The Division 2 and Sekiro automatically grab the HDR skills and apply them in-game with great results in 4K clarity. In one review, the specs matched the Retina display, and you can see why. depending on the region included. Despite being a FreeSync monitor, the Nvidia card runs on it but without the benefits of syncing. On the other hand, advertised viewing angles are accurate, but it's best to look directly at the monitor for the best color representation. . Sliding around reveals some unwanted color shifts that you're unlikely to find on an IPS panel, but at a significantly higher price point. Other than that, it's a fantastic purchase. A 4ms response time goes well with a 60Hz refresh rate, making this monitor ideal for both work and play, especially if your budget isn't already limited by professional design products.
