This purchase was my third attempt at finding a stand for my 11" iPad Pro within a few days. My criteria are: (1) it must be durable; (2) it must be made for a tablet (one of the other brands was made for a phone but sold for a tablet); (3) it must be self-contained and portable; and (4) it should be simple, my Inserting and removing iPad with a case that has an Apple Pencil slot in the side (to avoid snagging); and (5) its base must be at least 4 inches off the ground to use it as a second monitor for my MacBook (which stands on its own stand). It's hard to meet that criteria, but this one does! I'm satisfied. A few notes. (1) The image of the product makes it appear much larger than it actually is (the image te tablet should be tiny), but it works. (2) I don't like how the black foam protectors look when my iPad is in a different location. But that's a minor complaint. (3) This stand is difficult to open and close, which doesn't bother me because I think it's proof that it won't collapse when I put pressure on the iPad. (4) I can say that there is a limit to the amount of pressure I can put on my iPad the closer it is to vertical, which is to be expected. Overall this is a solid holder and I am happy with my purchase.
