Nice coat, not too bulky but padded enough to keep you warm on a chilly day and also to look fashionable. The fasteners are quite strong, metal, the hood can be removed with the help of fasteners. To put the sizing in perspective I usually wear a size 16 and bought XXL thinking it would be roomy but it fits just enough to comfortably snap around the chest with a thin sweater so not much room. . The ribbon belt is a bit light and not strong enough or long enough to tie and hold a strap, but the ribbon itself has nice metal detailing on the ends. It's more fashionable than functional. It would be nice if they also added a tie/belt to the inside of the jacket as the pull down function is already sewn into the coat and the ties could be left on the outside for fashion purposes. Overall I'm happy with the coat and look forward to testing it out in cold weather.
