Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Effortlessly Cool: Kanto YU6 Powered Speaker Pair with Bluetooth and Phono Preamp in Sleek Matte White by David Hill

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Clear Sound, Clear Looks

I bought these based on other reviews on youtube and various websites and am glad I bought a PreSonus eris e5 xt but they buzzed and hissed horribly so I needed something along fewer problems. That sounds good. I wanted a studio monitor but after a lot of research settled on the YU6 and Sub6. They look good but I'm more worried about the sound so I'll talk about that in the review. In the For the first hour of playing the YU6 there was a little distortion in the high frequencies, even with 24-bit music, but after that I noticed it went away and the sound was much wider. Table speakers because they are sooo close to the table but step back a few feet and they sound a lot better. The high vocals are great, and the mids are detailed and spacious as well. They have some bass, but it's still a bit light for me. About what you would expect from a 5 1/4 driver that doesn't push large amounts of air. I bought the Sub6 with a crossover around 100Hz as they roll off at 70-80Hz. I like it when the sound isn't split too much between the subwoofer and the bookshelf speakers, so I turn the volume down on the subwoofer so they harmonize well. I burn them with pink noise all day, so I'm hoping they'll be a little more open when I get back to them. I would definitely recommend buying these speakers and a subwoofer if it fits your budget. If you are not a subwoofer then you will be satisfied with speakers alone as they will not cause any problems, great sound with many options. I will use them for video editing with voice recording, games and of course music!
