Clear Sound, Clear Looks

I bought these based on other reviews on youtube and various websites and am glad I bought a PreSonus eris e5 xt but they buzzed and hissed horribly so I needed something along fewer problems. That sounds good. I wanted a studio monitor but after a lot of research settled on the YU6 and Sub6. They look good but I'm more worried about the sound so I'll talk about that in the review. Bought to replace Logitech Z623. The speakers don't seem to have a proper filter as they hum when plugged into the same circuit as my computer (the Z623 and even my old regular $40 speakers avoid this problem). Unfortunately the nearest outlet is on a separate circuit in 2 rooms so I have a large extension cord on the wall, floor and hallway to make them work and it won't help. Also, a lot of noise comes out of the speaker port with all the electronics inside, about 2-3 times more noise than…

So I spent some time buying the speakers for my Technics 1200 MK2 turntable which I recently bought. Previously I used an older and fairly inexpensive Logitech THX computer speaker set that included a subwoofer. They were ok but far from great so I felt like I needed to up my game.
