I have a 2006 Honda Ridgeline RTL and while I love it, one of the things that has always annoyed me is that the stock reverse lights were ridiculously dim. Especially noticeable in the winter months when I get to work before sunrise and leave work after dark. I couldn't see anything behind me. With these lights I can now see where I'm going when I'm reversing. I would say they give me the "minimum acceptable viewing distance". Other than that, I only give it four stars. It has more to do with the manufacturer than the product itself. The reason is that it's 2000 lumens. The only brighter ones are 2800 lumens (which I discovered after I bought them, and the extra 800 lumens didn't seem like enough of a boost to be worth the hassle of swapping them out again). It would be nice if the manufacturer just went a little higher with its output (even 3000 lumens would be asking too much? Maybe 3200?) As it stands I plan to add a few extra light modules on the back at some point for task lights and extra reversing to use. Lights, so they're fine on their own at the same time. They're way better than stocks, that's for sure.
