Will not fit Sun Sun 304B models - hose too large

Many people complain that the 5/8" size is too small and fits too loosely in their canister hose. And when I got mine I had the same problem The heater adapter went into my pipe so loosely it just slipped out on its own Very loose fit - not tight at all. I actually took the time to measure the heater fitting (OD) and I measured the ID of my filter tube... And guess what? The heater connections are correct - exactly 5/8" - as specified by the supplier. Wrong hose on my filter (Sun Sun 304B) My SunSun 304B hose is just over 6/8" ID. why the heater fits so loosely on the hose. I went to the hardware store like the others and bought two stainless steel worm drive clamps and used them. secure connections. But I'm still worried as I had to screw them on to keep them from leaking. It's ok now, but I'll probably keep looking for another solution that will make me more sure it won't fail. Maybe siliconize and then clamp. After all that extra effort, I say this. The heater I saw him drink 125 gallons of water from 19 degrees F to 20 degrees F in 81/2 minutes. The temperature rose from 20 to 21 degrees Celsius in another 10 minutes. When I woke up 6 hours later the next morning, my 125 gallon tank was 27 degrees Celsius. As it heated the water, I could put my hand in the tank next to the outlet and feel the warm water flow out. To sum it up, make sure you measure the inner tube diameter of your canister before purchasing this device. I've attached a few photos so people can see what I'm talking about. If the pipe ID is 6/8" or larger, you will need hose clamps to ensure a tight fit.
