Review on No Tangle Thread Bobbins 8 Pkg 2 5 by Karla Richter

I bought these for a knitting project (intarsia sweater, thick yarn). I'm disappointed with the quality of these reels; They don't have clean edges, there are spots where the plastic ran over the mold and wasn't cut properly. These rough spots catch my yarn, which is not good. The bobbins also just don't close tight enough for my purposes, so my yarn keeps unwinding when it shouldn't. This can work for knitters using heavier gauge yarns if you overcast the edges first, but they won't fit. for finer yarn. I like the 1 7/8"
