I am working from home with my VOIP phone for an extended period maintaining inventory systems for auto parts recyclers. I have a Plantronics T20rA phone and have found that there are several RJ11 headsets, most of which have a mini jack to connect directly to a computer. I needed a replacement headset as I tend to overtighten the cord with my chair and drop the headset so many times that the headband rips off the earbud attachment. While it's easy to fix with super glue, I was starting to think that if I put the damage where I was going to put it, I wouldn't be able to fix it. Since I'm reasonably happy with my original set, it made sense to buy the same as a backup. Since it was made by the same manufacturer as the phone, I knew it would connect and work without any modifications. Although not cheap, they fit me.
