I bought this tire changer kit to replace tubeless tires on my Yamaha XS650 which has 19" front and 16" rear wheels. This is another well thought out tool from Motion Pro! They worked for me exactly as advertised. I have no idea how long the tires have been on my rims, but it's been years. I managed to break the beads apart in a few bites and the end of the spoon is nicely shaped for removing the beads from the ribbons. I didn't scratch the inside of the headbands badly by breaking the beads. The key is to be patient and bite off a few small pieces rather than trying to cook the pearl all at once. The small scratches on my wheels didn't bother me as they are over 40 years old and uncoated on the inside. They were pre-scratched when I bought the bike. I'm not sure how some other reviewers were able to flex the wheels. the end of the bucket when removing or installing tires. If it takes that much force to push the bead through the rim, you are doing something wrong and I would ask how straight the rim is after the tire fitter's arm is bent. I like that the end of the spoon is thin, which helps it get between the bead and rim when removing or installing the tire.
