The shoe has excellent arch support, but more importantly, the insole is easy to remove, allowing for easy insertion of custom orthotics. The shoe also features a deep heel cup and high collar for ankle support, allowing for larger, higher custom sockliners with arch support. In fact, I've tried Hokas, Asics, Brooks, and NB shoes, which were also recommended for custom insoles with custom arch support, and they weren't deep enough to accommodate my custom insole. Those were the only shoes. Well made from durable materials but also lightweight. Exactly what my orthopedist ordered.
