Review on Wireless LED Under-Cabinet Track Light: Rite Lite LPL704 - Medium Size, Battery-Operated by Ken Barnett

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Discreet universal light

First the bad. It's not that bright. I've had a lot of LED based products (flashlights, flashlights, emergency lights, etc.) and they all worked great, were nice and bright. This product in particular is very dull and boring compared to all the others, so you think to it. Don't get me wrong the socket is ok and not the worst in the world but I just wish it was a little more attractive. But the rest of the device works great. I like that it is battery operated and very portable. The fact that each lamp head can be rotated and tilted is also very, very practical and helps to increase the range of the light. These properties alone make it a lifeline in the event of a power failure. In everyday activities, it is great for illuminating the different nooks and crannies of your home (such as under the kitchen, in closets, basements, etc.). It's pretty stylish too; it feels cheap and plasticky, but at least it looks good. Overall I would recommend it, just be aware that it appears lighter in the Revain photos than it really is. Also remember to take stronger straps if you want to hang it on the wall without drilling holes; The included velcro straps are of very poor quality and fell apart after a few weeks of use.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Reliability
