Bad switch in wall lights

I really liked this light when it came out. It was bright and being able to set each light in different positions was a huge benefit. The self-adhesive Velcro mounting strap is more than adequate to keep the flashlight in place, but you can simply use a bracket and two screws for a more secure fit. It was a five star product but the switch broke after only three weeks. That's why it's only three stars. Now the light can no longer be turned off with the switch; it's always on. The only way to…

Discreet universal light

First the bad. It's not that bright. I've had a lot of LED based products (flashlights, flashlights, emergency lights, etc.) and they all worked great, were nice and bright. This product in particular is very dull and boring compared to all the others, so you think to it. Don't get me wrong the socket is ok and not the worst in the world but I just wish it was a little more attractive. But the rest of the device works great. I like that it is battery operated and very portable. The fact that…

Fantastic and exactly what I was hoping for!

I read all the reviews, I mean ALL and was very confused about the product. The product description seemed to have everything I was looking for, but the reviews were so mixed I didn't know what to do. In the end I figured I'd order them and if they weren't for me I'd just send them back. Luckily I didn't have to! You are exactly what I was looking for. My goal for them is under cabinet lighting without bulky and ugly wiring. They are light enough to cook underneath. You have three settings…

Looks professional and requires professional installation

I installed it in an overhead cabinet where it can't be seen. When switched on, it looks like an expensive lighting system. Automatically updates your closet and helps you find things more easily when lighting is a problem. The individual bulbs can be easily rotated and tilted. And even better, without drilling and assembly! Comes with velcro stickers that can be attached to the wall and light rail, then just stick the rail. And we're talking heavy-duty Velcro. Has a power button that gives you

UPDATED: Light dies in 2 days

12/20/15 - Updated Rating: I had to change my rating from 5 stars to 1 star due to problems with these bulbs. I bought a total of 24 cabinet lights and all 24 drain their batteries within 1-2 days of putting new batteries in. After 1 day the light is so dim that you can't see anything in the closets and on the 2nd day the lights went out. At first we thought it was the result of using cheap batteries so we bought a Duracell to test this theory but after 1 day the light got very dim again and on

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

and it takes six instead of four - Using Tenergy Centura AAA Low Self Discharge (LSD) NiMH batteries, 1 4xAAA card I've had two for a while now maps, and they really came in handy when a nasty storm cut power on June 29, 2012 from 9:17pm Friday to 11:37am Sunday. Many in Virginia are still offline. The rotatable individual lights are positive and the pole itself is very comfortable to hold when getting in and out.************************ ***** * **** ********************************************

Ideal solution for kitchen cupboards

Huge old Victorian house with 12m ceiling height for rent. There is one light bulb in the kitchen, a round fluorescent lamp waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa on the ceiling, the light of which is so faintly cool and brown that the prison dining room seems attractive by comparison. Instead of reinventing the wheel and redesigning the kitchen to create a satisfying atmosphere, I…
