Bad switch in wall lights

I really liked this light when it came out. It was bright and being able to set each light in different positions was a huge benefit. The self-adhesive Velcro mounting strap is more than adequate to keep the flashlight in place, but you can simply use a bracket and two screws for a more secure fit. It was a five star product but the switch broke after only three weeks. That's why it's only three stars. Now the light can no longer be turned off with the switch; it's always on. The only way to turn it off is to take it off and remove the batteries. When you put the batteries back in, the light is already on and will stay on no matter what. You also can't use a lower setting due to a broken switch. I want to love this light so I'm ordering a new one. It is easier and faster to simply change the order than to go through the return procedure. Plus, it only costs $18. Battery life is an issue. I tried Duracell Quantum AAA but they died after only five days of intermittent use. Switched to Sanyo AAA batteries; definitely the way. If the switch sticks on the new one, then it goes back to five stars, if the new one also has a problem with switching, then it drops to two stars. Just take a look.
