Description of Nokian Tires Hakkapeliitta R3 195/65 R15 95R winter

The Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 studless tire is the epitome of safety, comfort and economy. Tiny particles from a renewable, safe material have been added to the rubber compound (Nokian Cryo Crystal 3 concept). These particles have sharp edges that show up on the tread as they wear. As a result, traction on slippery surfaces - on ice and packed snow - is improved. Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 winter tires have minimal rolling resistance, even lower than summer tires, thanks to the tread structure and the latest rubber compound. Easy rolling reduces fuel consumption, saves money and reduces CO2 emissions. The Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 consistently scores top marks in tire comparison tests for rolling resistance and proves to be the most economical winter tyre. This is possible thanks to a 5% reduction in rolling resistance compared to the predecessor tire Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2. The Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 winter tire is suitable for almost any modern passenger car. The model is offered in dozens of sizes for wheels with a diameter of 14 to 21 inches. It provides a high level of comfort in the most difficult road and weather conditions, ensuring safe driving in them. Arctic Sense Grip The Arctic Sense Grip concept was used in the creation of the tire. This is a set of technical solutions aimed at providing maximum grip on packed snow and ice. One of them is the use of several types of lamellas. In the shoulder areas there are self-locking slots. Upon contact with the road, they, opening and forming numerous faces, limit the mobility of the block. As a result, not only grip properties are improved, but their stability is also increased. The central part contains lamella pumps. When in contact with a wet coating, they absorb moisture due to the presence of special cavities inside, thereby drying the contact patch. The action of the lamellas is significantly enhanced by the compound. It is made in two layers. The outer side contains, in addition to silicon dioxide, Cryo Crystal 3 particles. They are distinguished by their high hardness and crystalline form. This component more than compensates for the lack of studs in the tread of this tire, providing effective grip on icy surfaces. The lower base layer of the tread is highly rigid. Such a "substrate" gives stability to grip properties, improves directional stability at high speed and when maneuvering, and reduces rolling resistance. Snow Claws Another innovation of this model is the numerous grooves between the blocks of an unusual triangular shape with long curved zigzag edges. These elements enhance directional stability and grip during longitudinal accelerations on snowy surfaces. Some of them are located on the sides of the shoulder blocks. Brake Booster The next interesting solution...

It's impossible to use it, don't waste your money.

Not worth the money for sure. Stored incorrectly, so two out of four tires are not balanced. The plant of the 2022 cannot ensure proper storage and transportation to the final consumer. Either they are produced in violation of technology, which I will not be surprised

I started with Kama Euro, then there were many other Bridgestones, the latest VRX and REVO GZ, I considered them the top of tire building, but here it's straight heaven and earth. This tire is the best winter tire I have ever had, and I have had a lot of it in the past 15 years. In the beginning, I didn't give it much thought because I had a negative experience with the winter euro Velcro that Nokian made (WR G2), but these ended up being the perfect choice for a driver who is constantly on the

Pros
  • The 245/45R19 tire is very soft, it accelerates and brakes properly in the winter in all situations, it has good handling, and it does not float in the spring when the temperature is high.
Cons
  • In addition to the price of no, as for me, but on the whole, I believe that this is a fair price considering the quality of the product.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The item is of good quality, there is only one minor defect.

Has some pros: Quiet enough, however there is a slight howl at speeds greater than 50 miles per hour. It felt that because of the smoothness of the pavement, the acceleration was more sluggish than usual. The pavement was rather comfy. Con: The R18 is not well balanced when it is first placed on brand new wheels. While the rubber was turned through an angle of 180 degrees in relation to the disks, weights ranging from 65 to 90 g were hung from each disk.

So. Prior to my bald head R3's excellent silent and tenacious on asphalt, just wonderful. grip and handling like sports tires in the summer, I placed the rubber down in September. Before that, there was the Haka 8. (Front-wheel drive, mechanics) Perfectly starts on porridge and in the snow. Except for braking, everything works OK. When the true winter starts in January, I dread to think what may transpire. In temperatures below zero, rubber does not slow down on asphalt, porridge, or porridge…

Pros
  • 1) Extreme quiet optimal) on asphalt; (3) well-rows porridge; (4) snow
Cons
  • does not at all slow down for grits - from the word NO

Good product for me, no problems at all.

My very first review is here. 205/55/16 tires that were purchased in 2018 for a Kia Ceed JD. The tires worked flawlessly for four years without any issues. I travel the highway and the city frequently. I was able to drive into the village with a clearance of 15 cm, even to my mother-in-law. The disk needed to be leveled, and at the very least, henna tires, because I flew into pits both in the city and on the interstate. The ice on the track acts reliably and steadily. I calmly drive 14 and…

Pros
  • somewhat quiet, strong, and stable
Cons
  • unable to locate. At temperatures of +5 and higher, there is a tiny roll, however this is a problem with all friction tires.

Normal quality, you can use it.

Before making the switch to a mono-drive vehicle, I deliberated at length on what tires to purchase. This tire was chosen as the best option. It was then that the question "Who, if not the Finns, know what winter is?" entered my mind. In most cases, it acts normally regardless of the state of the roads. Similar to how Velcro rolls even when it's freezing outside. Didn't get mired down in any mud. But there is one caveat, and that ruins the whole enterprise. In just one season, we lost 2 mm of…

Pros
  • Strong rowing
Cons
  • resistance to wear

It was a reasonable purchase, I will order more.

I believe that it would be perfect for a quiet ride during the winter in Europe; nevertheless, a journey to the forest on this rubber would not be possible. The Chinese Maxxis SS-01 did indeed have a more certain feeling. Below are some advantages: Excellent, soft and silent. on the Nissan X-Trail there is a shoe. On the racetrack, it maintains a superb grip on the road, even while passing other vehicles; you can drive right through a spike without ever feeling it. Stress only — on bare ice and

Disgusting, dissatisfied with the purchase.

As a direct result of the denial, I wrote a letter to the office and included a number of images. Here is a promise for the year 2022! The breaking of rubber is considered normal wear and tear by Nokian Tire LLC and is not considered a defect. Zero customer focus! Money down the drain, I don't see the point in taking advantage of the situation, because living is more expensive! According to what I read on the internet, this appears to be a widespread issue that affects not only the NOKIAN…

Pros
  • The cost is comparable to an airplane fare of 295/35/21 for a set that is greater than 80
Cons
  • Do not buy this slag that was manufactured in 2022! At the conclusion of the second season, the sidewalls of all of the tires had fractured along the treads.

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The purchase did not bring joy, the product is bad.

Whenever the tread wears down to half, you should replace the tire to ensure a safe trip. Water and snow build up on the contact patch because between the checkers on the edges of the rubber is a side that is half the height of the new tread, and at 50% wear this side becomes on par with the main tread and starts to block the removal of water and snow. That's why I flew into the oncoming lane at 50 miles per hour (thankfully empty) the second time I made a tiny 20-degree turn in wet porridge…

Pros
  • Size 235/45/18 when new on a car; quiet, stable in turns; recommend.
Cons
  • At that point, it does not retain the road, does not drain water, and does not even remove snow porridge. No 7 hack match

One of the tires was punctured on the very first day following the purchase, but prior to that, the last time any of my tires had been punctured was ten years ago, and I had even forgotten about this. It has come to our attention that the terms of the guarantee stipulate that these tires can only be transported and glued by specialized services. And if I'm on the highway and I don't have a spare wheel, you need to remove the wheel and bring it to them yourself, or you can call a tow truck, but…

Pros
  • Although the price is reasonable, there is no assurance of any kind.
Cons
  • Warranty and the overall quality of the tires

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality product, I rate this purchase excellent.

Can maintain forward momentum while rowing slowly. Consistently succeeds in ascending snowdrifts; the challenge is in descending them in the morning. Brakes on the porridge are fine, and one can turn confidently. With a manual transmission and 200 horsepower, the front-wheel-drive vehicle struggles to accelerate from a stop and frequently crashes into the axle boxes, despite the fact that it nearly never steers to the side, regardless of whether the differential is locked or not. She thrives on

Pros
  • Sturdy, silent, and gentle
Cons
  • Front-wheel-drive 200-horsepower manual gearbox slips on porridge during acceleration

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best I ever used, recommend it to everybody.

Has pros: The tires have an improved traction in the snow compared to the R2 model that came before them. They also demonstrated stability when used on the ice. Some cons: The spikes offer superior traction, however they become easily dislodged when driving on clean asphalt. In the city, spikes are not required at all.

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

I did not write this review right after the purchase because I do not like to recommend to other people things that I have not used myself. However, I have driven more than 3,000 kilometers on these tires, and I can now recommend them with complete confidence. I can say without a doubt that I am pleased and content with both the option that I went with and the value that I received for my money. I recommend Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 to everyone. If you give it a shot, you won't be able to say no

Pros
  • I went with the Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 205/55-R16 tires for my brand new Skoda Octavia since I was looking for the best winter tire option. The brand of tires manufactured by the Finnish company Nokian Tires speaks for itself; for a long time, I have favored tires manufactured by Nokian Tires, both in the summer and the winter. The results of my own personal testing of the tires on a variety of winter roads' unpredictable conditions exceeded my expectations. On icy, snowy, and sloppy roads, the traction provided by the tires is exceptional! In regions where the road has been repaved with asphalt, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of your vehicle as well as superb control at any speed. Because to this attribute, you will be able to enjoy a ride that is free from the discomfort caused by bumps, ice, snowdrifts, and other imperfections on the road. These tires are the best in every category, and they enable me to make the most of the features that come standard on my brand-new vehicle (stability control, traction control, and abs)! The Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 tires do not have studded tread, so they maintain excellent touch with the surface of any road. This results in increased comfort and reduced fuel consumption. Tires with an adequate amount of elasticity and usability. They are differentiated by a greater resistance to wear, as promised by the producers, and time will reveal that it is true.
Cons
  • No

The product is of poor quality, I don't recommend it.

The worst tire I've ever owned. The Nokian model surprised me in this way. In terms of noise, it's basically same to studded. On ice, neither stability nor braking properties are present. When traveling on snow, the situation is less dire. The car can't stay on the road, valkost. There is dreadful conduct in the snow porridge. When I saw the tests, I had higher hopes. I wouldn't suggest it to anyone. I’d gladly exchange it for some spikes.

Pros
  • Superior grip in the snow. Nonetheless, this may be one of Quattro drive's advantages.
Cons
  • constant straight line motion Anti-lock brakes and ice stability Snowy braking and stability can be noisy.

I like it, thank you for the quality product.

We are satisfied with the rubber. Approximately 500 kilometers were driven in it, a BMW 320g20. With its positives being: Calm, and excellent road holding ability (in the snow). The "drift" will be enjoyable for anyone who drives a vehicle with a rear-wheel drive configuration. The hold is good; the only time control becomes difficult is when there is even a tiny bit of loose snow, ice, or tightly rolled snow. However, this is not a surge; it is understandable. Some cons: When the temperature…

The quality is spoiled, the product is bad.

On this for the third year, I operate a Volvo S90 sedan with four-wheel drive. There are no issues with the rubber's driving performance in dry and warm conditions. but throughout the winter. In Hong Kong, it is currently a good minus (-13 17) and the roads are kept in Scandinavian mode (cleaning only), not being watered. Therefore, the braking capabilities under such conditions are essentially nonexistent! From a speed of 40 to 50 mph, the ABS almost immediately begins to function, and braking

Pros
  • quiet, with good traction on asphalt
Cons
  • like a cow on ice! abhorrent brake capabilities. fractures in the pits

Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

Gisloved NordFrost, Continental ContiIceContact, and PirelliIceZero were some of the previous winter tires available. The first time driving in the snow without studded tires. The engine is in the front. In use in the city, the suburbs (about equally), and the country. +12°F to -28°F I got to experience all the delights of winter driving, including wet and frozen asphalt, fresh snow, rolling, ice, ice with snow on top of it, an icy track, and so on. The initial reactions are all favorable.…

Pros
  • An extremely quiet, flexible, and long-lasting sidewall. Superb traction and handling; easy to change direction. The track gauge is excellent, and it "cuts porridge" (thick sleet) very well. And there's a lot more besides. Absolutely well worth the cost.
Cons
  • Personally, I have to say no.

The old tires were Nokia Hakapelita R2s from the previous generation. I used them to drive around Hong Kong for two winters and two summers before deciding not to replace them. I made the decision to get these new ones before winter. I scheduled it for early October, when the temperature dropped to +7 degrees and below and the weather calmed down. Now that November has arrived, the weather has been frigid and snowless. The tires perform superbly under these circumstances. The cabin suddenly…

Pros
  • calm and tenacious
