At first I thought it was more of a comfortable jogging style short for casual use, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is a quality cotton short. I could totally pair this with a nice shirt and sandals and wear it to work or a trip. I was very nervous about the length. I have a big butt and often shorts are too short for me and fit another woman perfectly. They were a great length for me! On the other hand I also had 2 kids so my tummy is definitely softer and I hate when the bottom squeezes my tummy and creates a bun on top! But not these shorts. It has a nice stretchy bodice! I would definitely buy again!
