I don't think there are other stand designs on the market that can reach the same height as this stand while still adding up completely. I have it at about 75% of its full height (angled forward, which raises the screen a lot) and it fits perfectly on my desk (which includes an IKEA monitor stand at the bottom). It is very easy to fold and only takes a second to install once you get used to how it works. The included sleeve is very nicely made, fits the stand perfectly and is only slightly wider than my 16" MacBook Pro. It has both what I was looking for in a stand, something that can hold my screen at an ergonomic height. and it folds up for storage in a backpack or laptop case with nothing protruding.I'm looking forward to trying it out in flight to see a movie eye level for once. The only issue I've found is that it takes two hands to set it up (and it's difficult to set it up with a laptop), and on my 16" MacBook Pro in particular, the top panel seems to flex slightly backwards (due to the top weight of the laptop + screen ), which in A slight twist raises the front edge of the notebook. At first it looked like it might tip over backwards, but it's still stable. I only have the top panel on bent forward a little and that fixed the problem. To be clear, I don't think this is a defect, just a consequence of the fine design. Pros: - Lightweight - Well made - Stable in many positions - Includes a nice felt sleeve Cons: - Requires two hands to adjust - Top panel flexes a little (very little) backwards at certain angles on a heavy/large laptop in my opinion , the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. (Requires two hands to adjust - a decent compromise for a stand that actually folds flat.) Silent and probably not an issue with smaller laptops. My device also had a small defect in the paintwork (bottom right in the front photo), which I don't really notice. All in all it's great!
