I have a lot of discs (9 in the stack and 1 on top) and this is a great way to organize and protect them. Fans are great too. I had these drives in a box with a bad fan, but they weren't protected or adequately cooled. These stands are great. I have a power button that allows me to choose which drives to power on and I plan to add another hard drive controller so I can just use the power button instead of moving the SATA cables.
