I'm not a professional massage therapist but I love massaging my husband and a little massage oil makes the experience extra special (and more comfortable on my hands). Some massage oils and lotions become sticky, absorb too quickly, or have a strong scent that makes them unsuitable for massaging intimate areas. This oil had none of these issues and was perfect for my purposes. The oil is light but thick enough for my hands to glide over his skin without struggling with friction. I also appreciated the pump on the bottle; nice not to be fumbling with the lid with oily hands when I need a little more oil when moving to a new area. The label on the bottle said "makeup free massage oil" and while I wasn't expecting it, I wasn't put off. Also, I must point out that while the oil is suitable for all parts of the body, if the couple's intimate massage goes beyond the massage area, it is not suitable for use with latex condoms.
