This camera, like most budget cameras, is of Chinese origin and they like to call home. This one is no different. So, depending on where you set this up, consider what your privacy expectations are. My cameras are blocked from the outside world, I access them remotely via VPN. But my firewall (Untangle highly recommended) tells me who they're trying to contact. See the attached photo of this camera (192.168.1.200) for one of the many servers it is attempting to communicate with. Okay, with that being said. Once you get past the cumbersome setup process with the ICSee software you have to download and install on your phone, this is a decent feature-packed camera. You CANNOT use a modern browser to set it up, it must be an old Internet Explorer or similar which should load and use a custom Active X file. Wired only - bloody buggy) I've tried setting this up with my iPhone using the ICSee app - many times. He just didn't connect. I snapped my Pixel 2 and it connected on the first try. Make sure your phone has 2.4GHz bandwidth and not 5GHz otherwise it will not connect. My iPhone kept auto-switching to the faster WiFi band, causing problems. Overall I give the camera a 4 - mainly for the feature set, I like the auto tracking feature. Much luck!
