That's a beautiful light!

Got this lamp for a kitchen island about 6 months ago and it looks great. Pros - Simple, elegant appearance, good size and proportions, excellent workmanship. The vertical support consists of modular parts, so the mounting height can be adjusted according to your needs. The assembly is long but solvable. A couple of minuses - 1) metal wires running along the sides; The wires that came with the kit were too flimsy, difficult to tighten and when I managed to install them, they bent in a few places and wouldn't straighten. Luckily the holes and grooves they need to go in are designed for heavier gauge wire. So, after a few failed attempts at getting the wires right, I got a thicker size from Home Depot (a few bucks) and they worked perfectly. 2) As other reviewers have said, the bulbs that come with the light are VERY bright and give off a lot of heat so you will need a dimmer. I just bought lower wattage bulbs for about $9 each. Overall a great device. I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for a few of the shortcomings described above.
