First off, YES they are not dishwasher safe as clearly stated on the product packaging. Apply some soap to the sponge, wipe, rinse and dry. It's literally seconds. The dishwasher also ruins your knives. Some things only require a few minutes of manual work. It won't kill you. They fit from long to small right in the depth of my fridge. You can see your content clearly - no more searching for that pepper or any other product for a recipe. No more spoiled vegetables. I have now bought 5 sets as I get the produce from the garden. This way the vegetables will not let each other ripen and rot faster. I use one to chill pears before they have a chance to ripen at room temperature.
