Review on ❄️ MHW Absolute Zero GORE-TEX by Jim Raju

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If you want to stay warm and dry, you won't find better mittens.

Incredible mittens. They have: 1) pit skin. Pittards goes on and on. I have Pittard gloves that are many years old and still work great. Pittards makes its own gloves, but they are also used in a variety of gloves from other manufacturers where supple, thin, durable, abrasion-resistant leather is needed. So for example I have Pearl Izumi cycling gloves with Pittards leather and gardening gloves and now these mittens. Simply wash in water with conditioning soap. 2) Gore-Tex lining. I got my first Gore-Tex product many years ago, when Gore-Tex first appeared for use in clothing, an incredibly expensive (for the time) LL Bean parka. And I'm still wearing this parka forty years later. I don't think a breathable fabric - and many have tried - beats Gore-Tex for durability and pure waterproofing. 3) 800 fill power down insulation. It's as warm and comfortable as insulation. 800 fill power is the highest possible standard specification for down. Some very bizarre sources claim 900 and even 1000 Power Units, but their prices are incredible and below 800 are only available from a few special and rare sources. These are great mittens for sports and work in the country. Just great. They are soft, spacious and incredibly warm. And they're thin enough to be carried with trekking or ski poles. I have a medium sized unisex pair and they fit me perfectly. In fact, they appear to be large inside. If you want to stay warm and dry, these mittens are for you.
