Review on Sceptre C325B QWD168: FreeSync Adjustable DisplayPort with Height Adjustment, Blue Light Filter, Built-In Speakers and LED by Mark Berkelo

Amazing for doing business remotely with one downside

This is an impressive monitor. I have two 32-inch Scepter flat monitors side-by-side and I thought the curved screen was a gimmick, but it's actually better for remote work; I found that with the curved side of the monitors, I didn't have to twist my neck extremely as often. Working with two 32-inch monitors is a pleasure, but going back to 27-inch screens is downright painful. The included stand is easy to assemble. The design decision to place the power button and menu buttons on the back is an odd choice. since it's not as intuitive as having buttons on the front panel for these settings. The bottom panel named "Scepter" is wide enough to place those buttons on the front for any access/manipulation. The rear LED display is a gimmick that I tweaked off fairly quickly after setup. I don't need a rainbow or a uniform "ambient light". Overall a great purchase. Picture quality is excellent and the 165Hz refresh rate with DP connectivity is impressive. From those, I'm deducting 1 star for the simple fact that these monitors never turn off, even when your computer goes to sleep. That's ridiculous. Zepter flat screens turn off. Why would anyone turn off this feature? I have to turn off the power when not in use or they just stay on.
