Review on Sony SLT-A65V 24.3 MP Translucent Mirror Digital SLR Camera 18-55mm Lens: Review, Features, and Benefits by Ada Niemirka ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great value for the money, definitely recommended!

Filmed so far only on a kit 18-55. I took a set of 18-55 / 55-200 for 36 kilorubles - the only thing that was available in the city for reasonable money. Delivered by courier to friends. They have Canon 550D. They immediately tested at high ISO, general pictures and videos. Nowhere Sonya does not lose. When I chose it, I was frightened by tests on ISO above 800. In reality, I did not find ANY DIFFERENCE with the 550D, except that Sony has better colors on the whale in all modes, including 1600-3200 colors brighter and fuller than on Canon. Taking into account the price of 30 kilo per whale 18-55 (Canon 600D - 26, Nikon 5100 - 28 kilo for the same whales) justifies the money invested. The only thing is that the park of optics for development is a little more expensive than that of competitors. I took a Sony 50 / 1.4 - these glasses CAN resolve such a matrix ! There was a second wave of desire not to let the camera out of my hands, and to shoot everything in a row. I don't dress Keith anymore. It is better to take a bodysuit and a tamron 17-50 or 28-75 / 2.8 - for universal shooting and some fix 35 or 50 1.4. That's when 24 MP is felt, colors and volume appear in the picture.

Pros
  • 1. Comfortable in the hand lies (the most comfortable grip for my hand). 2. The quality of the photo is not inferior to the older amateur devices of Nikon and Canon (600 D, 5100). 3. In terms of color, for my perception, colors are much more natural, bright and warm compared to Canon and Nikon. 4. Video is ONE HEAD higher compared to Canon and Nikon of the same level. 5. Constant autofocus in video is VERY CONVENIENT. 6. Phase autofocus in LV. There is no difference (in terms of speed) to shoot through the viewfinder or to sight on the screen. 7. The speed of the camera as a whole is just crazy. 8. Panorama modes are very high quality.
Cons
  • 1. The electronic viewfinder is weak in the dark. 2. There is not enough full-fledged sound of the "CLICK" shutter. It's electronically controlled. 3. Interchangeable optics are more expensive than competitors. Haven't figured it out yet, maybe in time.
