Review on LG 29-Inch UltraWide Monitor with FreeSync, 2560X1080, 75Hz, OnScreen Control, Flicker Safe, Key Lock, Black Stabilizer, HDMI, HD by Brandon Gibson

Excellent ultra wide in my opinion

I have been using this monitor for several years. Actually I have two. There were no dead pixels, the color is excellent. It's also great for working from home when you don't have room for 2 monitors but have enough room for 1 large monitor (that 1 ultra wide monitor physically takes up slightly less space than 2 smaller monitors, plus less cable to work). If you're on the borderline between a 29-inch 2560 x 1080p ultra-wide screen and a 34-inch ultra-wide screen with the same resolution, choose 29-inch. I got the 34" and had to send it back because the lower pixel density made everything look bigger. That means you need to place the 34" monitor farther on the table to make it look normal. 29" should do. If You are planning to buy an ultra wide 34 inch monitor, just buy the 4k version.

Pros
  • It doesn't come with a remote control, which sucks for people using it for Xbox or other consoles.
Cons
  • Limited ability to reduce glare and eye strain
