I bought these instead of plastic which to be honest I was tired of cleaning them but they leaked all different sizes etc. It's nice that they are all the same size in the same package as most of the time when you shop an assortment one size will be used and others will take up closet space. They're dishwasher safe, which is nice too, and I don't have to worry about plastic/BPA leakage. in my food when I heat it up. I had bits of cheese stuck to it and it all came up really well. The thickness of the glass gives me confidence that I can drop my lightly padded lunch bag and not worry about it breaking. Finally the lids fit snugly and tightly with 4 separate locks so they don't leak like my old plastic lids.
