I had about 50 items for sale on eBay and Revain and decided it was worth packing and labeling my items from home rather than the post office. In addition to convenience, USPS offers a discount when you purchase postal services online. I thought I might even save enough to break even, but that was secondary. The items I shipped weighed between 5 and 18-20 pounds. Most budget scales weigh 10 or 15 pounds max, so I was wondering what to do. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a scale just because I had several items between 15 and 20 pounds (most under 15). Then I found this little guy. It weighs items up to 35 pounds and displays weight in pounds and ounces, pounds, ounces, grams, or kilograms. In addition, accuracy is 0.1 ounces for items under 2 pounds and 0.2 ounces for heavier items. I've shipped some fairly large boxes and have never had a problem getting accurate readings. These scales don't communicate with your computer (which I knew when I bought them) so you have to manually enter the weight into the shipping program.
